The Breakers

Tour includes Admission to ONE of the following Newport Mansions: The Breakers, The Marble House, or Rosecliff. The Breakers is the grandest of Newport's summer "cottages" and a symbol of the Vanderbilt family's social and financial preeminence in turn of the century America. *As of January 3, 2022 all Preservation Society of Newport Mansions are requiring proof of vaccines for all children aged 5 and up. As of January 15, 2022 all adults must also show proof of their Booster Vaccines. This policy is No Exceptions!

It's a weird year in 2020 and our first "staycation" was to Newport. Such a great first visit to this great town. The Viking Trolley Tour is a must and Dominic (our tour guide) was fantastic! This is so affordable and the value with a visit to The Breakers puts this activity over the top. Do this! We loved it.

Dominick was an amazing guide. He was super friendly and personable. I like that he "got to know" everyone on the bus by asking where everyone was from. He was very knowledge, humorous, and enjoyable to listen to. He was a very safe drive and super positive. Would highly recommend!

We had a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide named Ray. He did an exceptional job showing us the many sites around Newport. It was our very first time in Newport and he shared with us so many exciting things about the city and the mansions. He was a former history teacher and a local so he had many interesting stories. We couldn't have had a better guide!
