Overview

Enjoy delightful food from five restaurants while strolling the historic streets of Newport, Rhode Island! Our tour begins in front of the Wave sculpture on the corner of America's Cup Ave. and Memorial Blvd.. We will talk about Newport's infamous pirates, Revolutionary War armies, the Gilded Age of mansions and industrialists, the Irish American heritage up to and including the condominium boom. Our tour will last 2.5 hours and will cover approximately 1.75 miles. Bring your appetites, you will not be disappointed!

Our meeting place which is located in front of the Wave Sculpture, at the corner of America's Cup Blvd and Memorial Blvd.in the heart of Newport. Following your check in, we give a brief history of the 41 North and the Armory, then continue on to our "Off the Beaten Path" tour. If you have been to Newport many times or if this is your first time, you will experience many new facts and wonderful restaurants along the way.

Brown and Howard Wharf, one of the busiest harbors dating back to the 1800's, today it is still a popular port for luxury yachts.

Tom and Sue are awesome! We enjoyed learning about the history of Newport as well as discovering new restaurants we had never been to! All of the food was delicious! Will definitely be back for their Winter Stroll!

I enjoyed the food and learning interesting facts about the area but the guide could have been more engaging and sure of herself. One of the restaurants cancelled at the last minute and as a result the order in which we ate was not ideal. Appetizer, dessert, main course, drinks. Not worth taking 3 hours out of your day.
