Enjoy delightful food from five restaurants while strolling the historic streets of Newport, Rhode Island! Our tour begins in front of the Wave sculpture on the corner of America's Cup Ave. and Memorial Blvd.. We will talk about Newport's infamous pirates, Revolutionary War armies, the Gilded Age of mansions and industrialists, the Irish American heritage up to and including the condominium boom. Our tour will last 2.5 hours and will cover approximately 1.75 miles. Bring your appetites, you will not be disappointed!

Our meeting place which is located in front of the Wave Sculpture, at the corner of America's Cup Blvd and Memorial Blvd.in the heart of Newport. Following your check in, we give a brief history of the 41 North and the Armory, then continue on to our "Off the Beaten Path" tour. If you have been to Newport many times or if this is your first time, you will experience many new facts and wonderful restaurants along the way.

If you like enjoying amazing comfort food and sharing your time with fun and knowledgeable guides, while walking the town and tasting some local fun food, then this is the tour for you. Our tour guides Sue and Tom were a wonderful team. Friendly, outgoing, and full of interesting information about the city of Newport. At each stop they made sure we were well taken care of. We had great sliders, amazing fried chicken, the most unique and delicious biscuit I have ever tasted, fantastic pizza and the perfect ending of cupcakes and a cocktail. Who wouldn't love a tour like that?! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who visits and wants something besides a visit to a mansion. Have some fun and take the tour!

Great tour! We enjoyed making new friends and finding some of the hidden foodie gems in Newport. we were stuffed! you don't leave hungry--my husband and i couldn't even think of eating dinner. Our tour guide was easy going and a joy to be around.

Great way to see downtown Newport. Tom and Sue make a great team and have a lot to tell you about their adopted home. Originally from Boston, they "retired" to Newport and began their food tour. Delightful folks, and a great way to spend the afternoon.
