My husband and I were fortunate to have an unexpected, private tour with Tom and Susan. They're both such kind, welcoming people and we really enjoyed our time with them. The tour involved a bit of walking but nothing strenuous and we didn't cover a lot of area so this tour would be available to people of all ages. We got to see parts of Newport that we hadn't expected or planned on seeing and really enjoyed that. The restaurant choices were outstanding and varied--we liked absolutely everything! We will definitely return to these restaurants when we come back to Newport. We really enjoyed Tom and Susan's passion for food, history, and local business. We only hoped to learn a bit more about the history of Newport in general but we learned a great deal. Tom and Susan are pretty new to the food tour business but you'd think they'd been doing it for much longer! I highly recommend the foodies stroll to anyone visiting Newport. Can't wait to go back to all these spots!

My mom and I went on this stroll for her birthday and it was a wonderful time! Tom and Susan who guide the tour are extremely nice and gave interesting information/facts about the local area as we walked around. The foods we were able to try were absolutely delicious. The portions at each stop were perfect; big enough that you felt like you got to really taste what the restaurant had to offer, but not so much that you were too full to try the food at the next stop. We would recommend this food tour to any of our family and friends and we can't wait to do it again with more of our family members!!!
