My family and I booked this food tour without knowing what to expect. Little did we know that we would be greeted by two lovely tour guides, Tom and Susan, and then learn about Newport's history while visiting some of the area's best restaurants. Our guides ran our tour with enthusiasm and were very friendly! It was really nice that it was only the 8 of us (the tour has a 10 person maximum whereas the other food tour in Newport has a 16 person max)...we were able to enjoy each stop and take our time while indulging in great food that was generously portioned (to say the least). Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this tour! From the small bits of history that are integrated throughout the tour to the pastries and cocktails that were provided at the end of the tour, Tom and Susan's attention to detail made our tour one to remember.

We highly recommend taking the Newport Foodies Stroll! Tom and Sue Maxwell shared their knowledge of history and culture and you get to stop in at least 5 eateries! Did not leave hungry plus we met some nice people on the tour-thank you Tom and Sue for a wonderful day-Kathy and Benny

Tom and Sue Maxwell are such great tour guides, historians, and foodies. They were so friendly during the tour and made us feel like old friends rather than visitors. The historical details they had about the town was really interesting, as were the anecdotes they shared. All the food places they took us to were great and they have built great relationships with the small business restaurants in this town. And they’re very good about taking us off the beaten path and helped us find some awesome restaurants to visit later. Thanks Tom and Sue! You guys are absolutely wonderful 🤗
