Niagara Falls State Park

Niagara Falls State Park is one of the oldest parks in the US. The park contains the American Falls, the Bridal Veil Falls and a portion of the Horseshoe Falls.

Totally NOT worth the almost $300 spent on our tour. While our tour guide April was nice & the portions where we could actually hear her (on the bus) was informative the park venues were definitely disappointing. Our group was not at capacity so definitely not a large group issue. April would walk approximately 30-50 feet in front of her group & basically only speaking to the 2 people who could actually keep up with her while the rest of the group was left in the dark as to what she just communicated about the venue to the 2 people while the rest of us only got to see her back as she is walking a quick pace ahead of the rest of us Another thing that April needs to keep in mind is if you're speaking that your voice is going to project the direction that you are facing which in our case was away from us & not to the people behind you. She chose not to wear her microphone which would have allowed the rest of us to hear her. Again, while she was nice enough it definitely wasn't worth the almost $300 for a private tour. And what's up with the 18% tip recommendation posted inside the shuttle bus. We tipped accordingly for the value that we felt the tour deserved which in our case was not worthy of 18%. She also got a little snippy at one of our stops while waiting for a few customers yelling at us to get on the bus saying that she couldn't leave the bus in the parking spot yet we saw her sitting for 15min talking to other tour guides before she yelled at us to get on the bus. April- please be mindful of your customers that some/all may not be able to walk as fast as you & at the end of the day your customers are paying big bucks & you should accomodate everyone not a select few that are right next to you. I hope going forward that you will actually speak to your entire tour group.

We had such a great time being part of Brian’s Brigade. He was a fantastic guide, gave us helpful hints to do while we were there. Would definitely recommend…CHARGE!

It was great to get a tour of the park and hear the history with it. Guide was very knowledgeable. Maid of mist and cave of the winds was a wonderful experience!
