Led by of Niagara’s best guides you will ride along the true hidden gem of Niagara. Created by the erosion of the Falls over the course of 12,500 years, it is called the Niagara Gorge. Or the Gorge to locals. On this tour you will cover 2.5 or 5 miles round trip on flat smooth bike paths.

Stop at numerous lookouts that offer rare views. See a series of Class 6 and Class 5 rapids, two historic bridges, a natural forming whirlpool, the Whirlpool Jetboat, Spanish Aero-car, and lots of soaring turkey vultures.

You will hear stories of local history, folklore, dare devils, dramatic rescues and stories that only a local can share or know. Also ask for tips on where the locals eat and drink so you get to really experience Niagara.

What To Expect
1
Niagara Gorge Trail
The Niagara Gorge is made up of a series of parks that are connected by walking, hiking and bike paths. On this tour, guests can expect to enjoy a leisure but fun ride using their choice of an e-scooter or e-bike to explore the gorge with a guide. Completed in 2020, the gorge has new smooth bike paths that allow access to some view unique views. It offers vista points that most visitors to Niagara Falls never experience. You will spend most of the tour going from spot to spot along the upper part of the gorge. Stopping to take in breath taking views and to hear stories about history of the gorge and the area.
2
Whirlpool State Park
Whirlpool State Park sits along top the Niagara Gorge at a point in the Niagara River where it makes a 90 degree turn. A series of class 6 white water rapids can't make the 90 degree bend and the river turns into a very large whirlpool. This location also has a restroom.

Our guide Gaelen was amazingly friendly and completely knowledgeable about what we were viewing and the history of Niagara Falls at each stop. He is a life long resident of the area. He took us places that are normally missed by other tourists. I would Highly recommend this tour!!! Thank you Gaelen!!!

My family of six spent two days in Niagara Falls, and this was our favorite activity! The owner/ operator / tour guide provided great quality electric scooters and their rental was included with the price of the tour (what a deal!). As a life-long resident and former tour guide for “Over the Falls”, the owner (Gaelen) has the polished skills of a professional guide combined with the passion of a man who loves to talk about his hometown. He sprinkles his stories with a little history, a little science, a little etymology, and he knows how to tell a tale. If you ask follow up questions, his “off the cuff” responses are as entertaining as his prepped stories. The man loves and knows Niagara Falls. Best of all, as a local, his tour takes you to some stunning (and private) views of the Falls and the Gorge away from the bustle of the crowds. PROS: 1) A Likable, knowledgeable guide. 2) Smooth pathways with high quality scooters. 3) Lots of interesting Niagara Falls history is conveyed. 4)The opportunity to ask questions: “Where’s a good place to have dinner?” “Where’s the best place to watch the fireworks?” CONS: 1) The first two (?) blocks of the tour requires passage along a busy road. 2) The tour is an “out and back” with all of the stops (except one) in the 1st half. Could some of the 1st half stops be moved to the 2nd half? Or could the tour become a loop instead? SUMMARY: This tour is great for a broad age range (and a broad level of fitness). My wife & I are in our mid-fifties, and we are in average health for our age. Our four children range in age from 15-21. We all loved the tour! Great stories. Awesome views. Fun time. Memories made.

This was an awesome trip at a great value. We got to see some spots we likely wouldn't have on our own. Plus it was a beautiful day to be outdoors and well, there's scooters!!
