MUST BE comfortable in the water, be comfortable using floatation if needed (we have Ride Along option available for non-swimmers)
Must be in good health and fit condition, must be able to climb a short ladder
Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.

If there is one trip you must book on the big island, this is it!! I have never experienced something so amazing and up close to swimming with these beautiful creatures! The Staff was unbelievable and Simone was the best Captain around. Highly recommend booking with Hang Loose tour!!! You don’t want to miss this!

This is one of the coolest experiences of any vacation I have been on!! The manta rays are truly gentle giants! Our captain Jacob and Adam were knowledgeable and fun. Definitely recommend!!

The experience is a once in lifetime. The manta rays are so very cool and one is within inches of them. Once you get the foam straw under your feet, it's really easy to just hang onto the float. The crew was very nice and fun. I would say one thing that might improve the experience is to have two more lifeguards. We had about 25-30 people in the water, about 8-10 to a float, 3 floats. I think it's probably very challenging to watch 12 people while in the choppy water with them. Two more lifeguards would make it much safer. But still a unique experience!
