Truly a magical experience!! An absolute must if you are on the big island. Manta rays come right up to you and you can see how beautiful they are. The captain and crew of the boat were all about safety and made sure there passengers had an amazing experience while respecting the manta rays.

I’m torn on this particular review because our captain was such a great help, the crew in the water is wish were a bit more attentive. Our small group left saying we would never put ourselves through the experience again. This is to say, you can’t go on this trip and expect the crew to be there if you need them quickly. They will get to you, eventually. There were two crew members and around 35 swimmers. If this is a nonissue, then you’d love this experience. But simply, this was not nonswimmer friendly. I was lucky my daughter noticed me struggling and swam me to the boards. If you are not comfortable in open ocean swimming, maybe skip this tour or at least look more into what to expect. This was my first experience with ocean swimming and it made me very hesitant for the next days snorkeling adventure. Thankfully the next company provided plenty of flotation devices and we all had a blast. This review is not to bash the crew but simply to make potential customers understand what they would be getting into. It’s a wonderful experience for those people more comfortable in darker ocean water. The rays were a sight to behold.

We’re glad you got to enjoy our majestic rays. A must do experience. We get many beginning swimmers and thus we offer floatation life vests to those that request them.

Had an incredible time on this tour. The water was pretty rough and we had one guy go back to the boat right away. Any thoughts I had of going back to the boat disappeared after the first 15 seconds when a Manta swam by inches away. We watched them feed almost constantly the whole time we were out.
