This experience will be like snorkeling but on steroids! If you like to snorkel this introduction to scuba diving is the perfect next step to explore the underwater world. You will learn the basics of diving from your knowledgeable instructors who will lead you on a guided tour of St. Andrew's State Park or a local fresh water spring if Gulf conditions are unfavorable. This is a great class for people comfortable in the water that want to explore a little deeper.

My daughter & Son-in-law are certified and have been pushing to have me try it so that we can schedule some diving vacations together. This experience is THE BEST WAY to determine if this is for you. I can tell you that the Group at Panama City Diving were professional and direct with a comfortable and relaxing instruction and introduction to SCUBA dicing. The time spent was efficient allowing for the maximum effect of an underwater adventure. Plans are underway to start my certification just days after the experience. I recommend for all water dogs!!!

My thirteen year old daughter decided she would like to try scuba. Having had a somewhat negative experience myself as a first-time diver with a different dive shop years ago, I was a bit nervous. Panama City Diving was much less intimidating though! They were very thorough with prediving instruction and attentive throughout the dive. There were eight participants in our dive with three dive instructors. I also liked that this intro is a shore dive in less than 12 feet of water. Equipment was provided and was in decent condition. Be aware that they do not transport you from the dive shop to the dive site. If that's a deal-breaker for you, you have been warned. Given the price for the experience, I think it's a fair deal. Finally, our dive instructor, Travis, was very personable as were his apprentice dive instructors. Having been on many dive trips, I can tell you staff can make or break the experience. I definitely recommend this course and dive shop and would most definitely be interested in doing some more advanced dives with them. Be safe and enjoy!

Booked with my 15 yr daughter (108 lbs) and 2 other family members. Josh and Aleese were fantastic. None of us had ever been scuba diving and a couple were quite nervous. Explanations were clear, in water tests were straight forward. Great diving day and the current was strong. Aleese really helped my daughter get through everything and made sure the experience was unforgettable for her. Both of the instructors pointed out marine life and explained what we were seeing. Highly recommend this group. Well worth the money
