What To Expect

Flatiron Building

Our first stop will be at the distinctive copper green Columbus Tower building that was completed in 1907, currently home to Zoetrope film studio since 1972, co-founded by Francis Ford Coppola and George Lucas.

The National Shrine of Saint Francis of Assisi

Our second stop will be in the heart of San Francisco's historic North Beach district at Saint Francis of Assisi Church. Your guide will explain the story of the exquisite murals executed by the Italian fin-de-siècle painter and illustrator Luigi Brusatori vividly portrays the life of Saint Francis of Assisi.

Washington Square

While you are degusting the pasties and coffee of Stella Caffe, we will visit the surroundings of Washington Square where will talk about the history of the statues in the park our why we there are time capsules buried in the park!

Jack Kerouac Alley

Have your camera ready to take pictures of the Jack Kerouac Alley, with its well-known murals and gratifies

Joe was a wonderful guide and extremely knowledgeable. His choice of food venues to stop and sample their bill of fare was spot on, as was his points of interests. We would highly recommend this tour and in particular our great guide Joe.

Joseph was very knowledgeable and friendly. Provided a lot of information about the area and history of San Francisco. Tour included several stops for great authentic Italian food.
