Overview

Full-day trip from Downtown Atlanta to the North Georgia Wine Country. Admire the rolling hills and vineyards that make up Georgia’s premier wine region. Visit three celebrated wineries for approximately 13 wine tastings. After the wine tastings we will visit Helen, GA for lunch, a re-creation of a Bavarian Alpine village, complete with cobblestone streets. Helen has more than 200 specialty and import shops offering everything from candle making and glass blowing to cuckoo clocks and quilts. A taste of Germany in North Georgia.

We really liked the driver Pam, and the trip itself was laid out nicely. The wineries we visited were well-prepared for the group and the experience overall was what we'd hoped for. I am a thirty-something and went with my fifty-something mom and the only thing I'd say is that it felt like it was designed more for twenty-something women celebrating a birthday or on a Bachelorette excursion. Everything from the music (80s music videos) to the overall atmosphere seemed focused more on that demographic. From that perspective - if you're looking for something very chill and peaceful and for seasoned tasters -this is not your tour.

This was a fun experience! Our driver Pam was very kind and accommodating. I would like to recommend not playing the 80s-90s music DVD - that was odd. The drive was beautiful this time of year! Out of the three stops, we really enjoyed The Cottage. They did the best job explaining the wine. The scenery was beautiful and the quality of the wine was superb! I would definitely like to go there again!

The tour was awesome and we’ll planned out! I did it for my birthday trip with my girlfriends and would 10/10 do it again! Don’t sleep on this one
