North Park Beerucation Tour

Overview

Beer is the backbone of San Diego and North Park is a beer mecca. The goal of the Beerucation Tour is to dive deep into San Diego’s beer world trying a multitude of different styles, from a multitude of different breweries. We order all of these crazy beers at bars etc. but do we really know what we are drinking, what food we can pair it with, and what makes it so delicious. While sipping on some of these there will be some great knowledge to be found in an area that is filled with art and culture.

-Walk into 3-4 local craft breweries and get a chance to taste and learn about a variety of different beer styles, the brewing process, food and beer pairing and what it takes to start a successful brewery

-Learn how to pair beer with food while munching on some delicious snacks

-Learn about a neighborhood that went from an area filled with street cars to a land of hipsters and famous restaurants

-This is NOT only for beer nerds. (Other options will be available)

This tour was amazing. My girlfriend and I were celebrating our 7 year anniversary out in San Diego and going on the tour was by far the best decision we made being out in San Diego. Stefan's knowledge of beer and San Diego was beyond our expectations and made everyone feel welcome. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to know the history of beer, what makes a beer, a beer and different types of beer. The best part of all you get to drink great tasting beers and try out new different types of beers that you may not know off. My favorite part of all was Stefan took us to these amazing breweries that are not only producing great tasting beers, but also helping out the local community. Strongly recommend Stefan, his knowledge and hospitality were beyond our expectations. He went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and pass on his love and passion of beer.

Stefan was an amazing tour guide. He had great energy and had extensive knowledge of the area and the beer they had to offer. I had never thought to pair foods with different kinds of beer. Really cool experience highly recommended.
