I recently went on a tour with 1st Alaska Tours and it was an absolute delight! Our tour guide, Joe, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the beautiful state of Alaska. He made sure to answer all of our questions and provided us with a wealth of information about the local area and its history. One of the highlights of the tour was visiting Chena Hot Springs. The natural hot springs were absolutely stunning and provided the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind. We were also fortunate enough to see the Northern Lights during our tour, which was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Overall, I highly recommend 1st Alaska Tours and especially our tour guide, Joe, for anyone looking to explore the beauty and wonder of Alaska. It was an unforgettable trip and I can't wait to go back and do it all over again!

Relaxing in the 106 degree water of the outdoor rock pool was very soothing, although I had to step inside to partake of the jacuzzi in order to thaw out my frozen hair periodically. Joseph, our guide, was informative and optimistic throughout the tour. According to his website we would see the aurora borealis, and we did. The people with phone cameras actually got quite nice photos. Joseph got to know each of us individually and would wait for each to exit one activity and make sure that we were headed in the right direction for the next. A very enjoyable evening.

Loved the apple martini drank from an ice glass then stepping outside to make a wish and break the ice glass. Waiting around in the activities center later in the evening at chena hot springs was nice and toastie but the clouds prevented us from viewing the northern lights. Our guide Joseph was very accommodating, informative and upbeat. Would highly recommend him for your tour guide.
