Chena Hot Springs Resort
After wandering through the cool museum, don your bathing suit and enjoy the resort’s legendary namesake. The revitalizing mineral water soothes muscles with its warm temperatures of 106 degrees F (41 degrees C) year-round. You can also soak under the stars in an outdoor hot tub, or indoors in the heated pool. In between, slip away to the Aurora Café or the historic Resort Restaurant, where you can purchase meals, snacks, or beverages. When ready, join your expert guide for a small-group outing to view the Aurora Borealis. Your guide will lead you through one of the best places on earth to witness the green and purple illuminations loop across the night sky. Wait and witness the celestial wonder with hot beverages in the late evening, when viewing opportunities are the highest. The lights are also visible inside the cafe's Aurora Room, which serves as a comfortable and warm location for viewings. Note: We can never guarantee the Northern lights sighting.

Save your money. Get a rental car and drive yourself. This is an overbooked, uncomfortable tour not worth the money.

Hello from North Pole, We are sorry that you didn't enjoy your trip with us, and yes, you are correct. With getting a rental car and driving yourself, you could safe some money. Which is unfortunately not what we are selling. We are offering guided, educational tours to various places with very experienced tour guides, the equipment, the insurance, the Certifications, and depending on the tour, the entrance fees, the food, snacks and drinks included in the price or free of charge. We hope you still enjoyed your overall stay in Alaska. Kind regards, your AWG team.

I had a tour booked to see the northern lights and hot springs on my 21st birthday, but was cancelled on the DAY OF the tour! I had no other option then as all other tour places need at least 24hours notice to organise the trip. I missed out on the hot springs and the northern lights which is the reason I came to Alaska all the way from Australia. Their advice after cancelling on me was to book a shuttle with the hot springs which was $175 and would only allow me 2 hours at the hot springs - they obviously don't care about their customers and only care about making money. Completely ruined my Alaskan trip and I STILL have not received a full refund from this scamming company.

Dear Nixon, Thank you for leaving us your feedback again. We are sorry that you had this experience with us. However, our policy explains it very well, that we cannot drive out, unless we have reached the minimum capacity of our tours. In addition to that, the Viator voucher states, that our guests are required to call at least 24 hours before tour begin to confirm the tour and receive the exact pick up time. This also gives you the opportunity to receive all needed information, especially with a last-minute booking like in this case. Unfortunately, this was not done and due the non-working phone number we had on file; we weren’t able to reach out. This is the reason, why we had to send out an e mail a day before tour begin, to inform you about the cancellation. After still not receiving a response, we had to go ahead and cancel at the day of the tour, because we had no other way of reaching out to you. Regarding your refund, we have contacted Viator to send your money out at the time of the cancellation. We just reconfirmed this again and received the notice that your refund was indeed sent out immediately. Please recheck your account. Again, we are sorry, and this is not how we like to handle things at our company. If we would be a scam, we believe we would know about this. Greetings from North Pole, your AWG team.
