After wandering through the cool museum, don your bathing suit and enjoy the resort’s legendary namesake. The revitalizing mineral water soothes muscles with its warm temperatures of 106 degrees F (41 degrees C) year-round. You can also soak under the stars in an outdoor hot tub, or indoors in the heated pool. In between, slip away to the Aurora Café or the historic Resort Restaurant, where you can purchase meals, snacks, or beverages. When ready, join your expert guide for a small-group outing to view the Aurora Borealis. Your guide will lead you through one of the best places on earth to witness the green and purple illuminations loop across the night sky. Wait and witness the celestial wonder with hot beverages in the late evening, when viewing opportunities are the highest. The lights are also visible inside the cafe's Aurora Room, which serves as a comfortable and warm location for viewings. Note: We can never guarantee the Northern lights sighting.

I would give them more stars if I could, can’t recommend this tour enough. The guides are knowledgeable and fun. They genuinely want you to enjoy the tour and see the lights and they did everything to make this a fun experience. John is the best!!!

Tourist trap, you’re better off renting a car, making the drive and pay $12 for hot springs admission. The ice museum only serves one drink, not all that exciting. It was cloudy and there was no indication there would be any visible auroras. You would think they’d make an adjustment - would like some of my money back

My mom and I did this tour on a cloudy day. We were glad we booked the additional hot springs tour because everyone was skeptical if we were gonna see the Northern lights. The ice museum was really fun and cold, luckily they provide extra coats if needed. They have apple martini for purchase that comes out of a glass made of pure ice, heads up it’s a super strong drink! The hot springs felt amazing and was a pretty large swimming area. By the time we got in, there were few people in it. Our tour guide John was amazing! He was very helpful and informative and tried his best so we could find the Aurora, and we did! On our way to the springs, he took time to look for wildlife to show us and we did get to see a beaver! The tour stops by a gas station to get water and snacks, which is a good idea because the water at the hot springs still tastes like sulfur. They have dinner reservations at the springs but heads up it’s a bit pricey. If you eat before the tour, sharing a plate between two people is filling. Overall a amazing experience and definitely would come back again!
