Received a text a little after midnight prior to our scheduled 11:00am tour the following day asking us to arrive at 9:00 instead. I responded to the text and called the phone number with no answer. We were a few minutes late to the 9am and no one was there. We never got our tour. I requested a refund and received a generic response that the refund was denied. Do not book this tour. Many of the one star reviews are a similar issue. This tour is not well run. Purchase tickets to each event directly so you do not get scammed like we did.

Our guide, Vivian, was excellent. The ferries are packed but it is part of the experience and it set the mood as you approach the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Both attraction are very much a part of American history. I really wish we had more time at both destinations to explore further and learn more.

Leanne shared the best of NYC history with enthusiasm that was fabulous! After she told us about ‘the best day of NYC - twin towers, we went home and watched Man on Wire! Awesome!
