This is a very good and interesting trip I had a chance to sample some traditional Ethnic foods of New York. The food sampling it was delicious tasty. One of the best tours i had so far here in New York. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of interesting facts and history.

I cannot say enough good things about this tour! The places we went were amazing, and Dante was SPECTACULAR! I was really glad we changed our meeting place to Katzā€™s, ā€œIā€™ll have what sheā€™s havingā€, and make that two! It was a small group, and thatā€™s what I like, more one on one time with each other to enjoy each otherā€™s company and the delicious bites. Dante has been doing this for ten years and it shows, his passion for the city and good food come out every step of the way. It was great to learn a little history about the Lower East Side as well, who knew there was a Greek Jewish community! At the end of the tour I felt a little more knowledgeable and like 10 pounds heavier. Pastrami on rye, knish, rugelach, pickles, donuts, dumplings, bagels, a bialy, and a surprise scallion pancake at Essex Market and a alcove of Babka french toastā€¦ Iā€™m salivating thinking about all the yummy eats. In short, take this tour, fall in love with the Lower East Side and meet a super genuine guy!

Dante has an effervescent personality without being overwhelming or "too much." His tour was informative, highlighting historical developments of the neighborhood and the background behind the places we visited. The portions of the food samplings were just right, and Dante had everything lined up when we arrived at each location. It was well put-together.
