Rockefeller Center

Start with a walking tour of Rockefeller Center to see 30 Rock (just like the famous TV show), and a view St. Patrick's Cathedral From here you will board the climate controlled bus an head out on 5th Avenue through the bustling shopping district.

I booked for my granddaughter and a friend for Sept 12 through Viator and at a late hour before the confirmed tour, we received a message that the tour is cancelled because there was no bus available. How can a bus tour cancel a tour because there is no bus available! We were given an alternative but the one offered does not serve our purpose because it includes where I live. Then we were asked for another date but my granddaughter has no more available date. We indicated this to the tour staff who we talked to. The solution, through Viator, was booking another tour but it cost us more. Yes, I read the good reviews but our experience was really a bummer. Again, how can a bus tour be advertised and then there's no bus available! I have confidence on Viator because I used it in my travels abroad but this one really took away one star from them.

Jared was amazing - personable, knowledgable and kept us on schedule! He was very accommodating of those with varying needs. This tour was just the right length of time and was a great mix of walking and bus riding. Kudos to Jeff the bus driver's mad skills - I can't imagine driving a huge bus through Manhattan, but he made it seem effortless and smiled the entire time. This tour is well worth the time and money.
