Looking out over New York City and New Jersey was disappointing. Although visibility was good, we didn’t really know what we were looking at — even with the rental ipad. The ipad did not sync easily with the views. It would have been helpful to have some signs posted as they do at the Eiffel Tower and the Montparnasse Tower in Paris.

This is a perfect place to go with kids and spend at least 2 hours there enjoying the view and reviving from long walks and/or protecting from rain or cold weather. The place has the most incredible view of the city. It is clean and cozy (we had -4C outside) and kids really enjoyed there time up there while parents were able to relax for a while. It is worthy visiting! We will come back!

This was one of the few observatories/viewing platforms I had left to do in NYC and I particularly wanted to do this to get the view of central Manhattan looking back - and I couldn't recommend it enough! Amazing views of the wonderful city of New York. The whole experience is pretty exciting too with the elevator ride and then a big reveal behind some screens, which does add to the experience. There's a nice cafe at the top too, so you can relax with a drink and the views if you wish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a different view of NYC!
