There's not a lot to do other than enjoy the view, which is nice, but that's about it. The elevator ride is super cool, though, that was almost more enjoyable than the real-life view. There was dining up there that we considered, but was too expensive, even for NYC standards so we ate somewhere else. I thought the Empire State Building was much more enjoyable. Still, worth the visit, especially for the historical significance..

We wanted to buy tickets online but waited to ensure the weather was good. The website had a special family rate that was 20% cheaper and only included admission which is what we wanted. We visited at 10:30 am on a weekday and walked in without any wait. The elevator is very fast and shows a time lapse of New York City. The views are great even though there is no outside portion so all of your pictures will be through glass. I prefer Rockefeller Center or the Empire State Building but enjoyed visiting One World Observatory.

Surreal to be able to go to the top of the Freedom Tower with all the history attached to it. Poignant to see the 9/11 memorial before hand. Lovely views across NYC from the top fo Freedom Tower.
