So very disappointed in a place we have lived from afar for many years and were so excited to visit. After waiting around for 3 hours she the elevators were not running during to high winds (safety- I get it)- we came back the next day to use our tickets which they honored no problem but ... the glare from the windows ruins nearly every photo or even visual. Perhaps different during daytime but highly recommend NOT coming at night. Staff was pleasant but the view (and commercialism) left us very disappointed. Go to the museum ... much more meaningful.

Please don't purchase your ticket until you are in NYC and know what the weather is going to be like. We purchased out tickets 3 days ahead and it ended up to be raining. We could not see anything and there was no refund available. TOTAL rip off... There were only 5 other guests that day.. so there is no need to worry about a line in the winter. I think this is an over priced event/activity. The employees were very nice and felt badly for the situation. A refund would have been fair. 9-11 Memorial if fabulous ...
