Nothing is free. We paid $90 each for free entry and a set menu. We had dined in a lovely Italian restaurant the night before for a three course set menu for $42 each which practically mirrored the set menu. The food was of a far better standard than the world trade centre, meaning the free entry price was simply added to the food making up the price of $90. The service charge of 18% is mandatory not discretionary and so it very much felt as though we had paid over the odds for a meal and paid an 18% service charge on the entry fee on top of that. The observatory is amazing and shouldn't be missed. But dine elsewhere. Oh and a bottle of corona at the bar before dining cost $17 (with the tax and service charge)

Amazing views of NYC and surrounding areas as one would expect, weather was I unbelievely clear and sunny. Definitely a must, small piece of advice, book online!

It is worth it, the elevator ride was amazing and the views were fantastic. Try to stay until night to see everything.
