View NYC from the highest perch, where helicopter look like dragonflies and the outline of the region lies before us like a living map. The ride through time tok up to the top in no time. That and the 3 minute movie are worth the price of admission The large 360 degree open space allowed for walks, strolls and inspection from every angle of the diverse crowd of visitors and Native NYers alike. The weary rested on the steps or benches while more exhuberant visitors pointed out their favorite observations. I loved the sunset over New Jersey and how the darkening colors of the dusk sky yielded to the slow emergence of twinkling lights on bridges, buidlings, and even Broadway. Somewhat commercial with overpriced souvenirs and a forced presentation of an iPad tourguide--unnecessary, expensive for anyone who's got Google maps.

We went on a clear and sunny day so we were able to really enjoy the view. We also purchased the priority lane, which was really easy, a little pricey, but overall a value add even though it wasn't super busy. Process of moving people could be better at the top would be my only issue.

We paid for the skip the line tickets and it was well worth the money. We were so busy on our trip so not having to wait was a major plus. The employees were all so helpful. We truly enjoyed the elevator ride and the view was amazing! I had left my apple watch at the security checkpoint in a bucket and didn't realize it until we were almost finished at the top so I panicked and went straight to guest services where they had my watch. I really didn't believe it! I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting NYC.
