The elevator trip to the observatory. The view of the 5 boroughs and the emotional feeling of been in the historical site of 9/11/01.

The One World ticket includes $15 to purchase from the food/gift store. My experience using this ā€œcreditā€ was unfriendly. I was told I could only use it once for the full amount. Using it for an item that cost less that $15 would result in my losing the rest of the credit. We had four people in our party, so we had to find $60 worth of products to purchase. We ended up getting things we don’t want or need because the selection is so poor and small. This form of forcing customers to buy your sub-standard and over-priced products is cheating. I discouraged a friend who was going for vacation to NY from taking the One World tour for the reason mentioned above. I will continue to do so until this sneaky policy is changed. The Empire State Building has a better tour with just as good views. The iPads were lousy. The staff didn’t know how to use hem and couldn’t help. The elevator went up too fast so you couldn’t enjoy what would have been a nice way to see history in the elevator screens. I was hoping for the same visual experience going down so I could absorb more, but going down didn’t include the visual history. Over all, this tour is over priced; I felt like I was cheated. It clearly smacks of a corporation trying to find way to make as much money from customers as possible while giving a little as possible in return.

We bought tickets for last entry starting at 7 pm according to Viator. When we got to the Worldwide Observatory at 6:30 pm they told us the last visit was 6:30 and it closed at 7pm. I think the information provided by you was very inaccurate snd we barely had time to get to the top . Our friends who were to meet us there a little before 7 could not get there by 6:30snd turned around and drove home to NJ.
