What To Expect

Times Square

The tour starts/ends in the heart of NYC - Times Square

Central Park

We make a guided stop at Central Park West and 72nd Street, at the Dakota Building (former home of John Lennon). The stop includes a short guided walk into Central Park to visit the Strawberry Fields with the Imagine mosaic dedicated to John Lennon, as well as the views of other sites in the area such as the luxury condominiums that numerous celebrities call home. We'll also drive by Central Park Zoo, famous Plaza Hotel and Carnegie Hall.

Rockefeller Center

The second stop on the tour is Rockefeller Center, for views of St. Patrick's Cathedral, the location of the ice skating rink and Christmas Tree, and NBC's Today Show set.

Madison Square Park

The third stop is Madison Square Park - the original location of Madison Square Garden Arena. This area provides spectacular views of dramatic architecture featured in numerous books and films: the Flatiron Building (Godzilla, Spider-Man), the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company Tower (The Runaway Skyscraper, Futurama), and the Empire State Building (King Kong, Independence Day).

The National 9/11 Memorial & Museum

The fourth stop is the World Trade Center, as we visit the 9/11 Memorial. The tour does not include entry into the 9/11 Museum, but visitors can walk the grounds of the Memorial, visit the waterfalls of "Reflecting Absence," (the footprints of where the original twin towers stood), and see the Survivor Tree that stood up to the destruction of 9/11.

Amazing! Nothing short of amazing! A full six hours of local color, history, key NYC sites and a ferry ride! Mike invested so much of himself as our guide. We loved every minute!

Tour guide Rachel described NYC in a very understandable way. She was very insightful and was very knowledgable about significant landmarks. She was pleasant and we would definitely tour with her again. Our driver was prompt, polite and a good driver. The overall tour was very extensive and comprehensive. The experience was fantastic. Tim was our guide, and he was so knowledgeable and passionate about the city. We got to see a lot of sites we would not have known were there, and learned a lot of about so many landmarks and historical stories.
