Hands down worth every penny. We had a group of 10 ranging in age from 8 to 75 and everyone was engaged and entertained the whole time. Our tour guide, Tyler, was simply amazing, the amount of facts and knowledge that came out of her was awe inspiring. We were able to choose our "must see" sites, and in between sites, Tyler would give us the history of the area, architecture, and pop culture of what we were seeing. She got off the van with us at every site and continued blessing us with her wealth of knowledge. The only thing I would change would be to do a 6 hour tour over the 4 hour tour we chose. We were hesitant on the longer tour because of the attention span of the younger kids, but each and every one of us was completely enthralled for he entire tour. I'm sure the bus tours are great (we originally had wanted to book that but it was sold out for a group of our size) but if you have the option, especially with a larger group, definitely opt for the private tour, and request Tyler as your guide! Would do it again 110%!

Steve, our tour guide was amazing! Truly showed love for his native city with his depth of knowledge and the New York charm, and throw in the genuine New York accent. Would recommend him to anyone visiting NYC for the first time.
