If you are interested in history or are just looking for something to do in NYC try this tour. It’s very affordable - $35 and well worth the money. Meeting place is inside the terminal and you will be sent an email telling you the exact location to meet. You learn a bit of the history about this magnificent structure (past and present) and are walked around the different areas of the terminal both inside and outside. The tour leader is very knowledgeable and asks and answers questions presented to her. Tour lasts about 90 minutes. I won’t give away any secrets, you have to take this tour to find out for yourself. It was enjoyed by all in our tour and there were people of different ages in my tour.
