As a New Yorker my entire life, I have been through Grand Central countless times. But I never gave much thought to the history of the one of the most beautiful building in the city. Learned a lot from a guide who truly new his stuff.

I purchased 2 tickests in advance online, but then we met a friend in the City for lunch who wanted to join us. The tour guide allowed a "walk-up" and she was able to pay and take the tour. We also met nice people from California in our group and from the town next door on Long Island. Wow! Our guide herded us around the busy station with ease, told stories, answered questions, and made the entire experience a delight. We loved it and would recommend it to locals.

Mandy was excellent! She is a wealth of knowledge, is passionate about her subject and has a vibrant personality. Loved hearing her stories. My only complaint is that the group had last minute add ons and there weren't enough headsets to go around so we had to do without. The group was a bit too large and had we had the headsets it definitly would have inproved the experience.
