Learning more about about GCS. Excellent tour guide Interesting facts about 20th Century and Broadway limited. The fact that the 2 tix booths are connected by a stairway.

The tour was a “Christmas gift” for my girlfriend and myself. We already had a great experience on the Dutch New Amsterdam tour a few years back, so wanted to try this one. John, our tour guide was great. The tour left on time, he was knowledgeable, and very personable. We even had a chat with him after the tour was over. Great tour, great facts, great subject matter. Highly recommend this as a great way to see more of an NYC landmark we “see” everyday.

Unfortunately this tour was very poor. I'm not sure if we got someone who had never given it before, but the host was hard to hear and understand and didn't seem to know much. The host didn't know anything about the building, history etc. My mom asked about the date of the chandeliers inside the building, he didn't know. He showed us a 'famous' photo of smoke inside the building and literally said "At some point this was taken". He knew no dates, statistics, figures etc. It was a complete waste of money and time. We left the tour about halfway through. Avoid!

We also emailed you and offered you to join this experience again with another guide, or join any of our upcoming walking tours for free in order to make up for this disappointing experience. Since I personally train all of our guides myself with well-researched and ample facts including the one you mentioned, I am shocked that this was not covered during your tour.
