Oahu Catamaran Cruise: Wildlife, Snorkeling and a Hawaiian Meal

Overview
Head to the country side of Oahu's West coast where years of minimal development helped to bolster and maintain a flourishing abundance of marine life, coral reefs, and clear water. We visit areas frequented by pods of dolphins and turtles and many other sea life. Humpback whales migrate here annually from Alaska during our winter months of November and April putting on a show for our guests. Snorkel in the warm, crystal clear blue waters that you've seen in movies then enjoy a prepackaged Hawaiian meal on us.

So I’ll start by saying, this trip was worth it because the actual snorkelling was amazing, we saw so many fish, eels and sea turtles. Which was once in a lifetime experience! We also saw dolphins swimming and jumping by the boat, also amazing! However, I feel the staff were not very professional. Clyde was very friendly, funny and helpful. However, the female member of staff (sorry I’ve forgotten her name) was quite rude and not very helpful. They really advertise their trip as great for novices, and even non swimmers. This was my first time snorkelling and I felt very unprepared. She did around a 30 second briefing on how to put on all your equipment, no real safety advice about whilst in the water. I struggled to fit my mask and I didn’t receive any help, even when I asked she was very reluctant to help me. Then when we got out of the water, we were unsure what to do with our snorkelling equipment, as we were given no instructions, so we put them in the bag and she snapped at us and said ā€œin the bucketā€ so I put them in the bucket, she was quite rude and said it needs to be disinfected.. as if we were supposed to know that. Then we weee unsure what to do with it afterwards so we washed it out then she snapped and grabbed it off us and finally said she would deal with it. Personally just didn’t make us feel good during the trip. The food would maybe be ok but be aware if it’s relevqnt to you thee isn’t really a vegetarian option, it’s rice, salad and pineapple. Overall I did enjoy the snorkel part but the staff didn’t eeallf make it the most enjoyable.
