Private Surfing Lessons are exclusively one student with one dedicated surf instructor. Great for young children and people who want or need extra attention. All surf lessons include top quality surf tech surfboards, Lycra rash guards, and instruction on land and in water. Classes focus on teaching the student the fundamentals of surfing.

Lindsay, our instructor, was fantastic. She eased us into everything and made us feel very comfortable in the water. Gave us advice when we needed and wasn't too pushy. had a great time :)

Carol was awesome! She taught me so much about surfing! She explained the how’s and why’s to become a better surfer. Super chill. Great experience!

My family of three booked a private family lesson and had the time of our lives!! My husband and I did a surf lesson in Waikiki several years ago with one of the well known surf schools, and NSSG was by far the superior choice. Rather than one instructor as promised, we got both Carol & Lindsey for our entire two hour lesson. Lindsey rode tandem with my 5 year old daughter and she stood up every time. She brags to anyone who will listen that she loves surfing and didn’t fall off once! Carol helped my husband and I, and we learned a lot more than we did with our prior lesson with both of us standing up multiple times. Carol was so sweet to tow me back out several times when my arms were simply too tired to paddle. Thanks to their photographer we have some great memories of our day! We all enjoyed ourselves so much and will definitely book with NSSG the next time we go to Oahu! If we would have had any extra time we would have returned for a second lesson this trip. Do not miss this experience!!
