Soar over the west Maui rainforest and the north shore of Molokaʻi to view the sea cliffs and waterfalls. Head back over West maui to our amazing Oceanfront Landing location to take in the views. Once done at the landing location the pilot will take back off and continue the tour back to the Kahului Heliport.

All passenger names & weights MUST be advised at time of booking. Under representation of body weight may result in cancellation at check-in with no refund.
Weight Restrictions: Due to FAA regulations, all passengers must be weighed at check-in. For each passenger weighing 240 pounds or more, or combined weights of 420 lbs per couple an additional seat must be purchased at time of booking. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers. It is important to provide accurate body weight at checkout.
It is recommend that all passengers wear dark clothing to help have less reflection in the windows when flying and therefore you can get better photos during your tour
Flight routes & sights may vary due to weather
Infants under 24 months must sit on an adult lap. PLEASE CONTACT AIR MAUI IF BRINGING AN INFANT. Over 24 months must occupy their own paid seat.
Please contact Air Maui directly for your check in and departure time at least 72 hours prior to your flight!
Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter
Helicopter is a shared cabin holding 6 passengers and one pilot on each flight.

What To Expect

Air Maui Helicopter Tours

Take off from the heliport and over the ridges of West Maui. Continue across the Pailolo channel to the island of Molokai to explore the tallest sea cliffs, rainforest and waterfalls.

Molokai

Then flight will then continue across the West Maui Mountains and back to the heliport.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

My sons did this helicopter tour and had a fantastic time! They came back very excited and loved every minute of the tour. I'm glad they were able to go - the views they shared were fantastic! Do it - you won't have any regrets. Air Maui takes safety seriously and was very helpful getting this flight set up. Dylan shared great narrative and history of the both Molokai and Maui and was a fantastic pilot.

This was my first helicopter ride and I had low expectations. From the beginning, I was blown away. As a hiker I'm used to seeing things from hundreds of feet and when we take commercial air, we are used to seeing land from 10,000 feet up to 35,000 ft. But with a helicopter there is an amazing sweet spot at about 1000 feet. High enough to see all the topography but low enough to still see a lot of detail. I had hiked all over West Maui and being able to see it a few days later from a helicopter really tied everything together, not to mention seeing dramatic waterfalls I never could hike to. But the climax was the 1,000 foot high cliffs of Molokai. Absolutely spectacular. Air Maui did a terrific job. Great people all around. Shout out to my pilot Troy and Monoaki. Bravo!

I'm so grateful I did this, even though I was scared to do it. The introduction to the flight beforehand helps you to feel prepared and calms your fears. Our pilot, Cameron, made me feel secure in his capable hands. It was an experience I will never forget! I have dreamed about being able to fly, so this was a dream come true for me! The views were spectacular and our pilot was both knowledgeable and informative about the island. We landed cliffside by the ocean, so we could get out out and walk around a bit and take pictures. Our pilot offered to take our picture with our camera. Afterward, you are offered to purchase a video of the experience. It was $50 cash for the USB flash drive. I highly recommend this because you don't see everything the first time, and it's the best souvenir you will ever buy! It's a great way to see whales, too!
