Frank & El Delrado were wonderful hosts for our Central Park carriage ride. It started off with a down pour & Frank offered for us to cancel. We didn’t. Frank gave my daughter & I towels to dry off & the carriage was covered. We have a horse so we know horses don’t mind the rain. Very informative & lots of great photo stops! Wonderful way to see the park.

From start to finish NYC made this a wonderful fun experience! Talked to Natalie when I called to inquire & book & she was so sweet & bent over backwards to help me. It was my 1st inquiry & I wouldn’t have dreamed of calling anyone else! I booked the 45 minute tour so they could drop us off at Tavern on the Green. When I landed there was a heartfelt message from NYC that they needed to reschedule because it was too hot for the horses. I respected them for the his. It was incredibly HOT that day & they bent over backwards, calling repeatedly until we found a time that worked! When we got to Central Park I called & they stayed on the phone with me til I found them. Then we met Peter, our driver & Roxie... our wonderful horse. Peter was a delight... soooo fun & knowledgeable about everything in & around the park like places where movies were made, homes of celebrities, where John Lennon was shot, history etc. we felt like we’d known him forever! He took our picture several times, stopped to give Roxie food & water & let my granddaughters feed her carrots he had brought. Turns out he is one of the owners.... and his caring showed it. He was so professional unlike the MANY carriage drivers who swarmed us offering rides in their carriages when we arrived at the park! The carriage was beautiful & clean ... and our ride was well over the 45 minutes!! After saying our goodbyes & thank you’s to Peter & Roxie we all agreed it was the highlight of our three-day trip & left with smiles & a bit of a heavy heart!

This was probably the highlight of our trip to NYC. It was actually on our anniversary. We had brought our daughters to NYC for the first time and thought they would enjoy this as well. Our carriage driver was unbelievably nice. He treated our daughters as princesses. He pointed out the various landmarks around Central Park. I would love to know how many times we stopped to take pictures and he was gracious to take as many as we liked. The girls were able to feed the horse carrots which they found really fun. The entire trip around took about 1 hour and was worth every penny. I only wish I had booked it for longer! The company gives you excellent instructions on finding your reserved carriage because there are others in the same area.
