I was excited about this carriage ride based on the reviews I read, but was disappointed. I don't think it was worth the roughly $125 I paid (excluding tip). The confirming email stressed the importance of being on time (in fact, the tone of the email was a little rude) but our driver and carriage were not there when we got to the pickup location. I felt rushed on the occasions when the driver stopped. But the ride was not entirely without benefit; it took me to places I would otherwise have had to research and walk to and I learned some interesting facts about Central Park. Central Park was worth the visit, but overall I don't think the carriage ride experience was worth what I was charged.

This was our second time in NYC and a carriage ride through Central Park was one of the things we wanted to do on this visit. We booked our ride via the website a couple of days before and the instructions on where to meet were very clear. We arrived a little bit before our time slot and the carriage was ready and waiting. It was a lovely way to see Central Park and our driver was great - good commentary all round and took some lovely pics of us at Cherry Hill. I would highly recommend this company and would suggest that anybody visiting NYC takes a moment out of your day to go on a carriage ride through Central Park. You won't regret it. Oh and thanks also goes to Eldorado for a smooth ride round.

We had a wonderfu time on our carriage ride around Central Park. Mario was so informative,helpful, and thoroughly entertaining. Chance (our horse) was beautiful, well behaved and loved to eat!! I would highly recommentd NYC Carriage Rides to everyone! They were very accomodating.
