After hearing rumors about horses not being treated properly. I wasn’t going to do a Carriage ride. My Aunt insisted I should do it. I did! It was a glorious hour long tour. Our driver was Great! He treated his Horse Charlie Brown as if he was his best friend. Allowed time for water and treats. I learned so much about Central Park and it’s history. I recommend this tour to everyone. I’ll be back again for sure.

Touring Central Park should be only done by horse and carriage. NYC Carriage rides made our experience enjoyable and memorable! Our driver was knowledgeable, friendly and amazing! Looking forward to doing it again!

I was surprised with a horse and carriage ride through Central Park on my birthday, July 4. Mario, our driver, gave me a red rose when we arrived which was nice. Our horse, Champion was a beauty and quite the character - he even smiled when I took a photo of him (see pic). Our ride was 55 minutes long and we avoided the heat of the day by going in early evening (6:30 pm). It was so peaceful and enjoyable. Mario was the perfect guide - very informative and always ready to snap some pics, It was one of my favourite birthday presents ever! Book through NYC Horse Carriage Rides - you will not be disappointed!
