I booked our carriage ride online before we arrived in NYC this was so easy to do I could pick the date & time of our ride also the length of time we wanted to spend on the carriage ride, I could also choose if I wanted a photographer to take photos along the way. After I had booked I received an email confirming everything & telling us were we pick the carriage up from & what logo to look for & to arrive 30 mins before the ride, I had been sent 24/2 & 1 hour reminders we had booked for the 11am ride but the night before I received an email telling me that Central Park was closed that morning due to a marathon I was offered other times during the afternoon which was ok for us as we had nothing else planned. We easily found the carriage & were greated by Frank & his father, as Marie, the horse, was still in training both Frank & his father would be taking us on the ride. After Marie had her drink we set off, what a fantastic time we had, Frank had such a great knowledge of Central Park & told us plenty of facts, he also told us about his carriage company & how it had started, I could have listened to Frank all day he was so interesting & took great pride in his business & really cared about his horses which was important to me, we had a couple of photo stops, as we didn’t want to leave the carriage Frank took the photos for us, I was having such a great time I didn’t want the ride to end! I can highly recommend this company everything was so easy from the online booking to locating the carriage. We can’t wait to return to NYC the first thing we will do is head to Central Park for another carriage ride.

As a first time visitor to NYC I wanted cross as many things off my wishlist as I could and, thankfully, my partner was willing to let me indulge in my ultimate touristy one - a carriage ride through Central Park! After reading tons of reviews I decided on NYC horse Carriage Rides and I’m glad we did. Our driver (I’m sorry, I don’t remember his name but he had a lovely Irish accent) was awesome and took his time pointing things out and stopping to let us take pictures and also taking pictures of us (we splurged on the hour long ride). I highly recommend NYC Horse Carriage Rides and would totally book them again on another visit. Thank you for making our exploration of Central Park a lovely experience!

This was the most relaxing excursion during our stay in New York! After all the fast-paced activities, it was nice to just sit back and relax. Our Driver/Guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Central Park is beautiful, AND BIG!!! We could never have walked the whole park! I would definitely recommend a horse and carriage ride for the New York tourist.
