We reserved our horse and carriage ride in advance through this company and are really glad we did, as there are other companies where you can just show up and get a ride. We were pleased that we arrived early and they were ready for us. The owners, Frank and his father, both rode with us as they were training a new horse. They were awesome and engaging with the kids and everyone had a great time on our hour trip around Central Park. Very pleased and we'd book with them again.

We had the horse and carriage ride given to us as a Christmas present from family members. They made the initial booking and then we booked the date we wanted direct. Booking was really easy and comprehensive details were given as to where we had to be and at what time. NYC's carriages are easily identifiable. One thing we did notice were that their carriages were far superior than others that were waiting in line outside of Central Park. We arrived in plenty of time and were told we could book what carriage we wanted. We had a lady guide (unfortunately I don't remember her name) and our horse was Tyson. He looked well cared for. When they arrived at the meeting point, we had to wait whilst Tyson had his breakfast which was fine. We were a party of four adults and had plenty of room. The ride was 1 hour around the park. The guide stopped on the way in so Tyson could get some water from the horse trough. The horse are well cared for. We then had a very enjoyable trip around the park. The guide did not stop talking providing a lot of useful information about the park, how it came into existence and pointed out all the highlights. We stopped at the fountain and had some photos with the carriage and Tyson. He enjoyed the stop as well as he was given carrots by us. We also stopped at Strawberry Fields (the John Lennon memorial) so we could get off and take photos. All in all and very enjoyable experience with a very knowledgeable guide. Well done NYC Horse and Carriage rides for a memorable time.

We had an hour of a carriage ride around Central Park with Josie the horse. Us four friends from Ireland had a great time and the lady driving the horse was absolutely lovely and very informative. We highly recommend this Company.
