We could not have been made to feel more welcome by our guide and horse Josie or Josephine to give her, her full title. Our carriage ride took place at 5pm, just as it was getting dusk and sadly their was a mist obscuring the tops of some taller buildings surrounding the park. Plenty of blankets were on hand to keep us warm. Our guide was very knowledgeable and talked to us the whole way round, about the park and different films and events that had taken place there. We learnt a lot and had lots of opportunities to take photos and he even took photos of us too. Feeding Josie carrots was very special. This was a very pleasant way to see Central Park and was a highlight of our trip to New York

Great way to see Central Park. Our carriage was ready and waiting. Dave the driver and horse Basuka (Zuks) made the trip so interesting. Despite having someone shouting abuse at us being driven around we had no qualms about how well the horses are looked after and in good shape. Zuks enjoyed the carrot treats.

A horse carriage ride around Central Park Is the perfect way to see it all at a gentle pace, the driver was very friendly and gave lots of information about the park and it’s history, we stopped a few times so we could explore certain areas up close and there was no rush, the driver also did a few photo shoots ! I would highly recommend this company and I would say it was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to New York.
