The Museum is closed Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The Outdoor Symbolic Memorial is a place of quiet reflection and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Designed by Butzer Design Partnership, this Memorial honors the victims, survivors, rescuers, and all who were changed forever on April 19, 1995. This was one of the best museum tours I've experienced. We had three generations from teenager to grandparents and it was impactful and interesting for all. The self-guided tour is immersive with a surprising use of interactive technology throughout. They also do a very effective job of transporting you back to the exact moment of the bombing and the days and weeks afterward of recovery. Prepare to spend at least two hours in the museum and more time on the beautiful grounds. Take the walk all the way around the chairs, reflective pool and orchard. It's all impressive, respectful and educational. We all continued talking about it for the next several days. I highly recommend it!

The personal stories. Didn't realize the effects this had. Hearing the news from the outside Didn't do your story justice. A must see. Very moving and so very thorough.
