This is a self-guided tour. Parking is available around the site in lots and with meters on the street. The Museum is closed Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The Outdoor Symbolic Memorial is a place of quiet reflection and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Designed by Butzer Design Partnership, this Memorial honors the victims, survivors, rescuers, and all who were changed forever on April 19, 1995. It encompasses the now-sacred soil where the Murrah Building once stood, as well as the surrounding area devastated during the attack.

This by far was so worth the trip from MN. I highly recommend attending this in your lifetime. Very moving, and great way to tell the events that occurred on that fateful April day in 1995. I would recommend this for young kids so they understand how things can occur in a society. This was by far the highlight of our Texas Roadtrip in 2019 from MN!!

I took my 9 year old granddaughter. I was a overwhelmed and teared up. She caught that and wanted to leave as it was "too creepy" for her. A powerful rendition of this terroristic attack. I think it is an important part of history.

We did a late afternoon tour on our way to Dallas. The museum took us about 2 hours but we could have taken 3. Our 15 and 18 year really enjoyed it as well. Brought back a lot of memories and made everything feel very real again. It was organized very well from beginning to end with photos, video, and actual artifacts. The exhibit outside hits you a lot harder after the tour as well.
