This 2-hour walking tour starting at Angelā€™s Flight Railway and ending at Pershing Square is a very good introduction to historic downtown LA as well as recent buildings. Our tour guide Phil is very knowledgeable and makes the tour very interesting with his stories and historic photographs of the heydays of Broadway and other areas. One of the highlights is definitely the 1893 Bradbury Building with an exceptional skylit atrium and fine ornate ironwork. It was a very enjoyable experience and the small group of 13 people didnā€™t feel overcrowded. There's no better way to experience the historic buildings and surroundings than a walking tour.

Phil was great! Very knowledgeable and brought to life the history of downtown LA. Recommend for anyone and make sure to have lunch at the Grand Central Market across the street for the starting point of the tour.

We came to LA with family and we decided we wanted to take this tour to learn more about the history of downtown LA. We had an amazing time and learned so much! Phil was our guide and he is beyond knowledgeable about everything that we saw and then some. You can tell he is passionate about history in general, but his enthusiasm to share his knowledge about the area was awesome! We definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn more about this historical place.
