What To Expect

Monterey

Meet your guide in front of the Old Fisherman's Wharf and embark upon your epicurean exploration of Monterey. Step back in time at our first stop as small bites are enjoyed in a historic setting. Venture to Alvarado Street and the hidden gems of downtown Monterey's back streets where locals dine. Enjoy dishes from traditional Indian or Greek cuisine to local cider and pasta in a gastropub to deep dish pizza. Next, visit an artisan ice cream shop, sample handcrafted ice cream while visiting the kitchen. Continue past many historic buildings in Monterey including a couple of California's firsts while hearing stories about Monterey past and present. Finally, sip local wine and savor delicious local cheese. Bid your guide and group farewell, but feel free to remain at the last stop after the tour concludes.

Monterey Bay Food Tours was awesome! With all the wonderful dishes that were provided on the tour, experiencing the tour while hanging out with friends and family made it that much better. Also, had the pleasure of meeting great people along the way in our group of 12. Every restaurant provided a perfectly portioned meal so that we had enough room for desert at our 5th stop. Walking from place to place and learning a bit of history and the culture in the community of Monterey was fun and also a great experience. Weather was beautiful in Monterey as always. Casey and her team did a great job. Would totally recommend trying the Monterey Bay Food Tours out if you're a local or tourists visiting the area!

Casey Howard Aguilar(owner) of Monterey Bay Food Tours has done a great job of introducing the local Monterey hidden gems of the foodie scene to the public at a great value. I was a rookie to the food tour scene and was impressed by the local knowledge Casey had and the fantastic restaurants on the tour. I'm a local to the community and discovered a few great spots I wasn't even aware even existed! When it comes to the food bring your appetite and you will leave happy and full. Frankly I'm not big on tourist activities where I live, but this tour will make you feel like a local and for the price it's a bargain. Absolutely book yourself a tour today!

This was my first Food tour ever and let me tell you i had so much fun walking around downtown Monterey trying restaurants that i have always wonder about and the historical info you get while walking between restaurant is so cool Casey tour guides and staff are very knowledgeable and the restaurant on this tour was amazing i would defiantly recommend for everyone to try even local
