We have done multiple culinary walking tours but Jason moved this one to the top of the list! Because he grew up in Portland, he was able to provide some fun stories and comparisons between Portland of many years ago versus today. He had a nice sense of humor and provided facts in a way that was easy and fun to listen to. We didn’t feel like we were getting a “canned, scripted” tour. He was conscious of guests’ safety. The tour itself had a good variety of venues and treats. We got ideas for future places to eat in the Old Port. We did not have any food allergies but Jason made sure those who did were easily accommodated. There were a couple little kids on our tour and he made them feel very welcome without the adults feeling like they were missing his attention. Highly recommend.

Host Jason was full of energy and made it fun. If you can plan on your first day in area great way to get to know Old Port area and get recommendations.

Jason G was our guide and he knew so much local history as well as the local foods having grown up in the area. He was also hilarious and kept us laughing while informing and feeding us. Well worth it.
