Our tour started at an oil and vinegar shop and ended at a chocolate shop, with soup, jams, sushi, and a lobster roll in between. (I hope I'm not forgetting anything.) Our tour guide (Dennis?) seemed quite knowledgeable and good natured. I loved that the group was a manageable size - 6 - even on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in August. Of minor disappointment was that we didn't stop at the donut shop that might have been mentioned in a prior review, and also that I've had better lobster rolls. But the vendors were all very friendly and in the retail shops, offered a discount on additional purchases by tour participants.

Thanks for joining us on the Old Port Culinary Walking Tour! The only spot you missed mentioning for your tour was the nut mylk smoothie shop =) Vervacious, Blake Orchard, Kamasouptra & Mr. Tuna at the Public Market, Gritty's and Deans. Tour itineraries vary as there's a lot of great flavor and entrepreneurial stories in and around the Old Port. Dennis IS a well-seasoned guide after several years with us and has a wealth of information to share. He's even a former culinary entrepreneur himself! We appreciate hearing your tour perspective and hope you savored the rest of your time in Portland.

We always do food tours when we visit a new place. This tour was everything we look for: a variety of different local food including drinks and desserts, and history of the area. We learned a lot about Portland. We also got recommendations for other restaurants to try while we were in town. Money well spent!! Our tour guide was Jazmin, she was wonderful

We've done food tours in other places but this one was really exceptional. Laid-back pace, lots to eat, and a wide variety of foods with everything from sushi to donuts to classics like lobster rolls and clam chowder. The beer is good too if you're inclined. Every place we ate was a place I'd happily go back to, and we made sure to take photos of the signs so we knew where to go.
