Just finished the walking food tour and it was fantastic! Jazmin was an excellent guide who provided so many historical stories about the city, pointing out so many fascinating tidbits including cannon balls in the sides of buildings that you may have been walking by without notice! Food tasted was ample- weā€™re stuffed! And it was a nice variety of different items. Cool hear the stories behind how the restauranteurs came to this area. Well done!

The cannon balls are one of those obscure pieces of history that unless you know to look up you'd likely miss them. You learn the quirkiest things about places from being in the tour business and then get to share them! Happy to hear that you enjoyed your time with Jazmin and the servings and we appreciate your review =)

We began our visit to Portland with a food tour to get an idea of the layout of some of the city and foods it had to offer. Our host, Timothy, made it interesting and was very helpful in answering questions we sent his way. So glad we booked the tour! A definite must for all Portland travelers!

We do food tours, or tours in general, when we first visit a city for the same reason! Locals perspectives, recommendations and to acclimate. Happy to hear you enjoyed your tour with Timothy and appreciate your recommendation!

We loved the Old Port Culinary Walking Tour! It was very informative and the food we tried was delicious! Betty was our tour guide and she was great- born and raised in Portland, she was very knowledgeable, and able to answer all of our questions. It was a very hot day, and Betty made sure to accommodate the entire group and keep us in the shade and cool as best as she could. Highly, highly recommend!

Hi Kristen! What a scorcher that weekend was (not our weather)! We appreciate you joining us and keeping upbeat in the heat! Betty will be as thrilled as we are to hear you had a great time. We're very fortunate to have her insight as a "locals local" from Portland's progression on how it was to how it is from growing up here. Thank you for the recommend!
