Leo, our sales associate, was absolutely amazing. His character was out going and he truly stayed in character. He definitely would have sold a lot of good back then.

Great staff guides. Learned and saw so much there. Old medicines, spices, machinery and much more. Wheelchair accessible. Lots more fun than the jail.

This is a short, interesting glimpse at how a general store would have looked back in 1908. You get a couple of fun product demonstrations, some interesting anecdotes about available medicines of the day, and a look at some the early versions of products and technologies that we take for granted in the 21st century. Even wearing a face mask, Leo did an excellent job showcasing his wares. It would be nice to have a little more time to look at some of the extra items in the rear of the store, but Leo made sure to engage our small group even when the scripted part of the program was over.
