What To Expect

Orange Beach

Have you ever experienced a sailing adventure aboard a two-hull sailboat? Two hulls provide stability, ensuring we’re not leaning to one side which provides a smooth ride. Come enjoy a two-hour sail in Orange Beach aboard the Cetacean, a 52-foot Hawaiian catamaran. With the wind in our sails, the Cetacean skims along the waters of Orange Beach, Alabama and Perdido Key, Florida. While out sailing, watch the mesmerizing sight of wildlife in their natural habitat as schools of fish surround the boat, our playful dolphins come to say hello, and marine birds dive into the water for breakfast or lunch. We also often spot bald eagles, egrets, herons, osprey, and seagulls flying by! This relaxing Alabama cruise is perfect for couples, families, and groups of friends. Our knowledgeable tour guide and captain point out the local flora and fauna. You may see osprey and their nests, herons, bald eagles, red-tailed hawks, and maybe even an alligator or two. The Explorer allows us to get as close as safely possible to the banks and the local marine and wildlife. Because the boat only needs 16 to 18 inches of water underneath, we can sneak into creeks and swamps where few other boats can go, providing you with a truly unique and memorable experience.

Beautiful afternoon spent with my family! We enjoyed everything about the cruise. The staff was amazing, the captain was helpful getting us comfortable with the boat before we left the dock. He kept us informed as we sailed along the water and discovered the dolphins.

Beautiful evening spent on the water. Not only did we have a gorgeous sunset but we saw a pod of dolphins. The captain and crew were friendly.

Even though half way through the exhibition we were hit hard with bad weather and rain. Had to turn back and head back to dock.. As far as the captain and his Lady Mate. 1st class people. Would recommend to anyone going to Gulf Shores.
