What To Expect

Orange Beach

Have you ever experienced a sailing adventure aboard a two-hull sailboat? Two hulls provide stability, ensuring we’re not leaning to one side which provides a smooth ride. Come enjoy a two-hour sail in Orange Beach aboard the Cetacean, a 52-foot Hawaiian catamaran. With the wind in our sails, the Cetacean skims along the waters of Orange Beach, Alabama and Perdido Key, Florida. While out sailing, watch the mesmerizing sight of wildlife in their natural habitat as schools of fish surround the boat, our playful dolphins come to say hello, and marine birds dive into the water for breakfast or lunch. We also often spot bald eagles, egrets, herons, osprey, and seagulls flying by! This relaxing Alabama cruise is perfect for couples, families, and groups of friends. Our knowledgeable tour guide and captain point out the local flora and fauna. You may see osprey and their nests, herons, bald eagles, red-tailed hawks, and maybe even an alligator or two. The Explorer allows us to get as close as safely possible to the banks and the local marine and wildlife. Because the boat only needs 16 to 18 inches of water underneath, we can sneak into creeks and swamps where few other boats can go, providing you with a truly unique and memorable experience.

Captain was very friendly and the bartender, Colton was great! I would definitely take this trip again. Saw dolphins and felt safe, God’s beauty displayed!

The crew was great. We saw some dolphins which was nice. The music was okay. They offered snacks and drinks at additional costs. I think at least one drink should be included with the price.

This experience was great!!. There was 6 in our party, (4 adults, two kids). My experience started out with the young girl answering the phones during the reservation process; she was just a doll and really committed to a good client experience. What a sweetheart. Next, the 1st Mate Natasha was great by explaining things to us, bringing us cocktails, taking really good family photos, but really just being a fantastic host. Last but not least, the Captain was very nice and just a gentleman (also the owner if I understand correctly). He was just great. He was really sweet to our 8yo daughter (even offered to let her steer the boat once we were sailing). She had a blast! We sailed around Wolf Bay drinking ice cold beers, listening to some great island music, watching for dolphins. The breeze on the water was great and the catamaran was awesome to move about as desired. It was just a fantastic couple of hours! The boat was clean and the crew was clean cut and good looking, and obviously really enjoying their jobs. The pier area where you load/unload is close to the Wharf with everything being very clean and nice. We’d have to dig pretty deep to find anything to complain about….maybe it was too sunny and crew was just too nice???? We highly recommend! Thank you so much for a great experience!!!!
