Ship was new, clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing, helpful and entertaining. The only thing that I did not like was that there was a storm out in the gulf so we were not able to go out and see the whales. I would have rather rescheduled, but was not offered. Definitely recommend, but know that if weather is bad, you will not be on a Orca quest.

Tour was on June 9th 2023 and we had an assigned table. Captain Tammy and her crew did a great job locating wildlife for us to see and the accompanying commentary was very interesting. We saw a humpback, an orca pod, sea otters, a seal, a puffin, and some mountain goats! We were very lucky. The boat was quite large and stable, but even at that, some other guests felt the motion and were not feeling well. If you are unsure about whether you will feel seasick at all, do yourself a favor and take something before you leave the dock. Do not risk ruining your day.

Our flight into Alaska was delayed and they were extremely accommodating and allowed us to simply reschedule for another day without an additional charge. We didn’t see orca however, we did see sea lions, otter, seal, bald eagles and lots of other birds.. oh and doll porpoises too! We traveled June 10th and it was cold (46*F) and drizzly. I highly recommend waterproof gloves because the wind and rain will freeze your fingers in no time! We brought snacks and the cruise ship did have some hot dogs, cup noodle soup and Mac ā€˜n cheese on board for purchase. The views were absolutely gorgeous and we truly enjoyed every moment.
